in pursuit of harmony
with the ecosystem
so the human species
has any hope of survival.
Dismantle white supremacy.

I’m not saying white people are inherently incapable of governing, or that Indigenous, Black, or working people are inherently better. I’m saying that white supremacy has concentrated power in institutions dominated by white leadership, and that history gives us very good reasons to dismantle that concentration of power. I want that power broken up and redistributed, not transferred generationally intact from one ruling class to another.
The violence of U.S. domination begets more violence: Since the colonizer’s first encounter with the colonized, the relationship has been enforced through violence: subjugation, dispossession, slavery, forced removal, economic extraction, occupation, policing and imprisonment. The forms have changed. The underlying concentration of power has not.
My friends shot these videos. The reason I am smoking is to express we’re all fallible: we’re not going to change overnight but if we don’t change quickly humans are going to die choking on fossil fuels. Sound off!
